DESCRIPTION


Specific Features :

AOC :  "Auge" area since 1942 .

ORIGINE :  Around 40 soft, bitter and acid Apple's varieties.

SOIL :  Clarey’s hillside with flint and not so deep.

DISTILLATION :  Double distillation on a copper still.

AGEING : Minimum 12 years in oak barrel

DEGREE :  43% 

 

TASTING NOTE :

Color : Golden mahogany

Nose :  Intense - Apple confit

Taste : Pleasant , round, carpentered with a light bitterness.

OBSERVATION : 18 Kg of apple  will give 1L Calvados 70° .
